YR Series
wound-rotor
three-phase asynchronous motor (IP44) is a chief derived series
motor from Y series motor (IP44). Better starting
performance and requirement of the speed adjustment for the
motor can be gained by adjusting the external resistance of
rotor.
Many parts of
series YR (IP44) are the same as that of series Y (IP44).
For corresponding to frame size, they have identical mounting
dimensions and tolerances, but the overall dimension of series
YR is longer than that of series Y. The carbon brush
collector ring device of motor is placed at the outside of
end cover.
Series YR provide
the same insulation class and the degree of protection by
enclosure as series Y, so do the cooling form. The
connection of stator winding is "Y", so is that
of rotor winding.
This series motor
is suitable for starting heavy loads. |
